5 Simple Habits To Make Yourself Smarter

Often we behave as if we have learned everything there is to learn as adults as if we have already learned everything there is to know. However, the most successful people in the world are always self-educating and seeking improvements within themselves in all aspects of their lives. It was evident if you’re like me that you don’t have a lot of free time, and just thinking about having to deal with another task is overwhelming and daunting, so here is a list of five quick, straightforward ways to become more thoughtful in under an hour each day.

1. Do something that feels uncomfortable

Life is about experiencing it as new each day, and if you don’t innovate your day and do at least one thing differently, your life will get stagnated. The more you can discover and do new things. It will help you to fire up some new neurotransmitters. When the brain receives some recent activity, it kind of goes like voo hoo let’s solve this, maybe crack a new puzzle today or maybe see a new place, learn about a new culture, learn a new language. Make a change that you have never made before.

2. Be with Like-minded people

Most people have heard if they spend time with the same five people every day, they become like them! You will often find yourself speaking about things that will improve your knowledge base or experience if you choose to sit down and chat with someone more intelligent or more accomplished than you are.

3. Make it a habit to relax every day for ten minutes

The Zen state is the most fantastic state, if you wish to be in the zen state, all you need to do is to find some time in solitude, solitude is not equivalent to isolation, most people fear being alone and silent, yet if one could be quiet then you can tap into your happy zone. It’s a habit to help you cope with life better.

4. Turn off your Gadgets and go for a 15-minute walk

Much like the peaceful zen state, walking around is not just therapeutic. It can also help you clear your thoughts of its clutter and enable you to focus on the tasks at hand. It does not just assist you in clearing your mind but also to get your heart pumping, and stimulate learning!

5. Make a checklist

It is scientifically known that the subconscious mind likes structure, so if you organize your day, each day’s priorities can make life easier. Taking care of your day can also make the brain function better with minor distractions. Life is easier and more manageable when you learn to make it effortless to do what you want every day.

Research has shown that we don’t need to do things extraordinarily, and it’s about doing something small and one task at a time.

This gives us a better sense of progress. In addition to learning new things and expanding your knowledge, you will be more productive and feel more accomplished after this one-hour process!
